LOCAL RULES

1.     OUT OF BOUNDS

a)     Beyond the boundary of the course as defined by a line between the course side edges of white stakes.

b)     Concrete surrounds of the clubhouse and car park.

c)     Field to the right of the 3rd fairway. Except off yellow markers.

d)     On or beyond railway sleepers at path to 1st tee and at rear of 9th/18th green

 

2. OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16.1)

(a) Shelters, seats, huts, wire protection fence at rear of 4th /13th green, poles, railway sleepers (excluding those marking out of bounds).

(b) Steps in bunker - if a players ball lies in a bunker and interference occurs, free relief is available under Rule 16.1c(1) or penalty relief outside the bunker under Rule 16.1c(2).

Bunker Faces. MLR F-22. Rule 16.3 is modified in this way: Free relief is NOT allowed when a ball is embedded in the stacked turf faces above bunkers.

3.INTEGRAL OBJECTS
All paths within the course boundary, railway sleepers at the path to the first tee and to the rear of the 9th/18th green are integral parts of the course.

 

4. GROUND UNDER REPAIR

Relief may only be taken from areas surrounded by a white line (Please Note, Full Relief must be taken Rule 16.1)

 

5.  POWER LINES

If a ball strikes a power line during play on the 8th/17th  or 9th/18th holes, the stroke is cancelled  and the player must play a ball as near as possible at the spot where the original ball was played from in accordance with Rule 14.6 (Note Poles supporting power lines are immovable obstructions, a ball striking such poles must be played as it lies. Rule 11.1b)
